Five Favourites of August:
5. The Paradise
In August, I started watching this TV-series called The Paradise, that takes place in a department store some time during the 19th century.
Admittedly, it’s not the best show out there or anything, but I do love myself a nice period drama, and if you’re into that sort of thing as well, I would suggest you to go check it out. :)
4. Somewhere Only We Know
Yes, this is a pretty old-ish song (2004), but I’ve been playing it like crazy these last few weeks, and it definitely helped improve my mood. :)
3. Guardians of the Galaxy
Yes, I liked this very much. :)
I’m pretty sure you’ve all heard of it.
2. Turned 18
According to the law, I am now an adult. Yay?
Just kidding, it’s definitely a good thing, mainly because…..
1. Driver’s License!
…..I’ve finally gotten to take my driver’s license! :D (and also that I can know use my own name to order books online ;))
In Sweden, we can get a learner’s permit at the age of 16, and then practise with a qualified adult for two years (or more), until we turn 18 and have the option to take a driving test, and a knowledge test.
I was super nervous, but two days after my birthday I had taken and succeeded on both, so now I can drive anytime and anywhere I want.
YAY!
