(Birthday) Book Haul: August

Oh yes! Another year of my life has gone by, and I’m pretty sure you all know what that means….

Birthday=Books

I repeat: Oh yesss

You wanna to take a look? I say let’s have a look. :)

Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins. :)

I have waited soooo long, and last month it was finally released. :) It’s not my favourite out of the three, but still super cute, and I absolutely recommend it to all the people who enjoyed Anna and Lola….and everyone else.

See how amazing they look all snuggled up next to each other! God, I love the new covers….though I would love them a lot more if they gave me the option to buy them all in hardcover….

Vicious by V. E. Schwab (Victoria Schwab). :)

I read this one back in March I believe, and absolutely LOVED it! I’ve been meaning to do a review for ages, but so far it hasn’t happened (obviously). Anyway, it’s a fantastic story about two really bad people with super powers, and I think you should read it. :) I’m so glad I now have it and its prettiness on my shelf!

Unravel me by Tahereh Mafi.

As per usual, I read Unravel Me quite a while ago as well, but I needed it to accompany Ignite Me on my shelf. I mean, this is what a succesful cover change looks like! Of course, though, Shatter Me is so far not available in hardcover, and that fact is killing me a bit more every time I don’t see it next to its buddies on my wall…. :(

Really good series, though. :)

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe av Benjamin Alire Sáenz

Oh. my.

Oh my.

This, my friends, is an amazing book. You should read it. Trust me, I’m a professional (not really, but you should still trust me). The inside is just as beautiful as the outside. I’ll probably do a review soon. I kind of promise. But what are words?

The Red Pyramid, The Throne of Fire, and The Serpent’s Shadow, all by Rick Riordan.

I read The Red Pyramid in July, and really liked it…so I decided I needed all three to join my Riordan-collection. :) Two books I havent read already? That’s quite unusual (my relatives were shocked to hear it), and I’m really excited to get to them. :)

Oh, but I didn’t only recieve books. :) I’ve been craving this gorgeous Tardis mug for ages, and this year my lovely friends gave in and bought it for me. :D

Yay, friends! :D

DSC_0508They also gave me these cards (plus some other things), and it was all really nice. :)

That was it for this year’s birthday book haul. I hope you enjoyed it, and if you want to, please tell me down in the comments about the books you bought in August. :)

Bye :)

  1. Oooh! I am so late jumping onto the Anna and the French Kiss bandwagon, but I freakin’ loved it and I can’t believe it took me this long to read it! Ha ha!
