As you might know if you saw my reading update for June, I recently came home from a fantastic week in London (I expected more rain and less sun to tell you the truth), and naturally, I bought some nice stuff while there. :)
Today I thought I’d show you these things (only one of them is a book, woops), but also…
…Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, which I purchased back in April, but never actually hauled. Better late than never, right?
There were some buzz surrounding this book when it came out, but in case you haven’t heard of it before, it’s a super cute LGBT-themed contemporary, written by Becky Albertalli, and I highly recommend it! :)
Now on to the London things!!
First of all, I went to The Folio Society, a bookstore that sells beautiful editions of (mostly) classics. As you might be able to tell, I got this GORGEOUS copy of Emma, by Jane Austen, and I absolutely adore it!
Look! It’s golden and silhouette-y and just…swoon!
And look look LOOK! It has 10 wonderful illustrations! In colour!

And if the beautiful book wasn’t enough, I also got one of these tote bags. :) For free! I actually don’t think I’ve ever used a tote bag in my everyday life, but now I’ll have to start. ;)

So, one day, my friends and I went to the WB studio tour (HIGHLY recommend), and I obviously had to buy a chocolate frog in the gift shop. ;) The frog itself is now long gone, but the box still resides on my bookshelf next to my Swedish edition Harry Potter books, as you can see in the picture above. :)
And last but not least, I got this I AM SHERLOCKED mug at The Forbidden Planet, a store that really made me wish I was more into figurines and stuff like that. But alas!
Can never get too many mugs, though ;).

Okay, so admittedly I’m maybe not the best shopper (I kind of have this mindset that I’ll only buy things I really really want…and can’t get online for a better price), but I’m super happy with the things I did get! And that’s what’s most important. :)
