- A book that scares you – The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender
I learned early on in the story that terrible things were just gonna keep on happening to the characters, and that scared me. Also pain. So much pain.
- A trilogy – Under the Never Sky
Three books = a trilogy. Check!
- A book at the bottom of your to-read list – Sweet Evil
Once upon a time, Sweet Evil had a place on my to-read list, but I removed it because I thought I’d lost interest forever (obviously I was wrong). So I guess that makes it pretty damn close to the bottom.
- A book that was originally written in a different language – Dream a Little Dream
Dream a Little Dream is a book written by the German author Kerstin Gier, and I read it in English since, well, I don’t know any German.

New pages-read-in-a-month record alert!
Woot!
(Honestly, I have no idea what happened this month)
I have read a LOT of romance-y paranormal books in April, which is kind of unusual for me. I guess that after Ava Lavender (fantastic book!), I needed something lighter where I knew beforehand the couple would live happily ever after. Not exactly my favourite books, but they gave me what I wanted. :) I think it’ll be a while until I pick one up again, though.
How’s your month been? Read any good ones? Tell me down in the comments. :)
I read The Ocean at the End of the Lane as well! And I didn’t even realise that we never got to find out the narrator’s name until now :O A very good book though ;) Btw I have tagged you in the Zombie Apocalypse Book Tag! :D
Haha, me neither :). I found out as I was writing this post.
Thank you, I’ll check it out :D
