Day 11 – Favourite Pairing

Hey :D

So once again, since this is not humanly possible, I will list my favourite pairings instead of only one. You okay with that? Good :).

They are not in any particular order. Some day I might be able to do that. but that day ain’t this day.

Prepare yourself ;)

1. Anna and St. Clair (Anna and the French Kiss, by Stephanie Perkins)

Anna and St- Clair’s love for each other is one of the sweetest and funniest I have ever read about. They aren’t only a couple, but best friends too. It’s that kind of love I remember long after I have finished a book, and the kind I want for myself one day.

2. Tris and Four (Divergent, by Veronica Roth)

What I love about Tris and Four, is that they both are very strong and independent characters. Tris doesn’t need Four to protect her, in fact he expects her to be able to handle herself. This makes them equals in a way that’s kind of rare in YA-books today, and I think it’s great. Of course, they are still very protective of each other and would do anything to save the other.

3. Hazel and Augustus (the Fault in Our Stars, by John Green)

I don’t know were to start with Hazel and Augustus. God! They are so perfect for each other and there’s a real bravery in allowing yourself to fall in love with a person that’s in such a tough position. I love their irony and many times I laughed, even though I really felt like crying.

4. Viola and Todd (Chaos Walking, by Patrick Ness)

Chaos walking isn’t a love story, and still Viola and Todd succeded to sneak themselves into my heart. Their love is so diffrent from everybody elses, because they don’t need kisses or love confessions. They just know.

5. Puck and Sean (the Scorpio Races, by Maggie Stiefvater)

Is it weird that I really enjoy characters that are kind of rude to other people? Well here are two that really don’t like the company of just anyone. That fact just makes it so much sweeter when they actually like each other. You know it’s real when two characters that don’t usually open up, finally do so in the presence of the other person.

There you had them :). I should probably point out that these are my favourite book-couples right now. It changes all the time but just in general, these are the kind of couples I like. The ones that actually know each other. Insta-love is one of my biggest pet-peeves in books.

I should really sleep now, school tomorrow :/

Bye!
